Stainless steel is durable and resists corrosion and tarnish extremely well. It’s non-reactive which means it’s not effected by acids found in some meats, milk, fruits and veggies. Vice-versa, it doesn’t contain chemicals that can contaminate your food. The material is smooth, scratch resistant and can be highly polished. Stainless steel is safe for use with all kitchen utensils, including metal or wood spoons and silicone spatulas. Available in stainless steel, tri-ply and copper base sets.
Aluminum is an excellent heat conductor as well as being lightweight and easy to handle. Non-stick coated aluminum allows for easy cleanup as well as healthier cooking, requiring less oils and sprays. Available in aluminum, forged and hard anodized construction sets.
